Here’s everything you need to know to get to Espacio Fenómena smoothly, plus a few ideas if you arrive early or want to start exploring right away.
✈️ Getting here from the airport
🚗 By car
The easiest way to reach us is by renting a car directly at César Manrique–Lanzarote Airport (ACE).
The drive takes around 25 minutes and it’s a beautiful route through the island’s volcanic scenery.
You’ll find several rental companies at the airport (Cicar, Cabrera Medina, Payless, TopCar, etc.).
🚖 By taxi
Taxis are available 24/7 right outside the arrivals area — no reservation needed, no matter how late your flight lands.
A ride to Espacio Fenómena (La Vegueta) costs around 35 € and takes 25 minutes.
🚍 By bus (locals call it “La guagua”)
There’s no direct bus from the airport to La Vegueta, but it’s possible with a change:
- Take Line 22 from Lanzarote Airport (ACE) to Arrecife Bus Station (Estación de Guaguas). 🕒 Runs every 25–30 minutes.
- From Arrecife, take Line 16 or Line 52 to Tinajo.
- From Tinajo, it’s about 5–10 minutes by taxi to Espacio Fenómena (La Vegueta).
💡 Tip: Buses are reliable but not very frequent, so check the latest timetables at Intercity Bus Lanzarote.
🕗 Early arrivals
If you’re arriving early, it probably means you woke up really early too so let me suggest a gentle start to your day.
☕ First stop: coffee at Levain
A beautiful little bakery with amazing coffee and pastries, just a few minutes from the airport.
📍 Levain Café
🎨 Then: visit the César Manrique Foundation
A must-see in Lanzarote. It’s one of my favourite places on the island and a perfect introduction to its art and architecture.
📍 Fundación César Manrique
🌊 And maybe a swim at Famara Beach
Wide, wild and full of energy — the best place to breathe in the island’s rhythm before heading to Fenómena.

🍽️ Grab a bite
If you’re planning to grab a bite before check-in, here’s a map with some of my favourite restaurants and local spots around the island:
My recommendation for this first day? Stop at Monumento al Campesino, it’s right on your way to Espacio Fenómena. It’s a great visit, and the restaurant’s architecture (by César Manrique) is stunning. You’ll eat local, simple food in a beautiful setting.
🌙 Late arrivals
If your flight lands late or you expect to check in after dark, don’t worry, just let Gabby know in advance so she can help you coordinate your arrival and make sure everything’s ready.
