HOLA AMIGUIS DEL MUNDO MUNDIAL
Espacio Fenomena was born out of a personal wish: to create an extension of my grandma’s summer home energy. A place where people can gather without pressure, where coffee is always brewing, a bocata de chocolate is the best merienda, and there’s always room for one more. A shelter for family & friends and for anyone looking for something gentle, real, and a bit off track.
Although island holidays mean different things to each of us, Lanzarote makes you feel alive in a way few places do.
It reminds you to slow down and take better care of yourself.
It’s not just a break from your to-do list — it’s a break from the pressure to always be doing.
Here, life moves to a different rhythm.
You rise and sleep with the sun.
You eat when you’re hungry, swim in the sea every day, nap when you feel like it.
Days stretch out without needing much.
It’s not about curated experiences. It’s about real moments:
Whether it’s sharing a glass of wine after a salty swim or a deep conversation with someone you just met while hiking a volcano, connection lives in the small gestures. They shape the feeling of a place. The extra olive oil in every dish, the way the light hits the floor in the morning, adding some extra coffee for your flatmate which you haven’t yet met. Somehow, the simplest things feel fuller here.
My idea of a perfect day in Lanzarote?
It starts with a sunrise surf, followed by toast slathered in butter, and some local papaya and banana.
Then maybe a visit to La Fundación, or a stop at the market for some fresh veggies.
A sandwich at a hidden natural pool. Listening to the same song over and over while driving through Timanfaya.
An aperitif at a local bodega. A sunset walk in Famara.
Two rounds of salted caramel ice cream, sitting on the outside bench, watching the neighbors walk their dogs.
Some silly jokes around the dinner table to end the day just right.
Nothing extraordinary — and that’s the point.
I live here all year round. I host people, yes — but more than that, I live alongside them.
Every person who passes through brings something different, and that’s what keeps Fenómena alive. We make it alive!
