This June, we had the joy of welcoming The Sun Collective back to Espacio Fenomena, exactly one year after hosting Lucia´s very first retreat here. Back then, both of our projects were just being born. To reunite again, a year later, felt like a quiet celebration of how far we’ve come and how creative paths can grow in beautiful, parallel ways.

What made this edition so special is that Lucía stepped fully into the role of artist and guide, leading the retreat not just behind the scenes but as the creative force at its center, a powerful milestone for her and a gift for those who joined.

Over four days, participants immersed themselves in the art of watercolor, this time focusing on the textures, light, and quiet drama of Lanzarote’s volcanic landscape. One of the highlights was a painting session among the island’s iconic vineyards, held in a nearby bodega. Surrounded by ancient vines and black volcanic earth, the group set out to capture the raw beauty of the terrain, its textures, its silence, its traditions.

The experience was rounded out with a local wine tasting, deepening the connection between art, land, and culture. It was a moment to slow down, to feel, and to appreciate the richness of Lanzarote, not only through the brush, but through the senses.
